Hurricane Christopher

It’s hurricane season again. Which always makes me glad I don’t live on the coast. It also makes it a particularly good time to tell you about my refrigerator. Remember when I posted this picture a couple of weeks ago and I was whining about my appliances?

Well, it’s fine now. It started acting weird when my brother’s family was here. You see, my brother requires the temperature to be such that I end up wearing sweats in the middle of summer. All the windows in my house fog up. He basically creates his own weather system – Hurricane Christopher.

My theory is that the extremely cold temperature, combined with the extra cooling work the refrigerator has to do when there are seven extra people in the house (doors get opened more often), caused all the dripping we saw. Once the house returned to a normal temperature, it was fine. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!

  1. I’m good with that as a reason. Makes much mote sense than the ones I usually offer. I usually just say that the gremlins have gone on leave.
